| Alice was very sadly lost to us following a veterinary procedure on 4 December 2015. Her presence in our lives is dreadfully missed. Travel well until another time my beautiful girl. Alice was unable to be shown until nearly a year old on account of a serious hock injury at six months. She nevertheless performed exceptionally well following recovery from two operations which had to be undertaken in Christchurch, gaining her Championship Title in eight consecutive shows against strong competition. Her third time out and one week before her first birthday saw her taking Best of Group under Mr H Donaghue of Ireland. Alice continued to do very nicely at the shows until it became apparent in later years that the unfortunate injury early in life was affecting her movement. Alice has a wonderful temperament and is a delight to live with. |
